Profile of a young lady. Oil on canvas, initialed "DLW" on the upper left corner, framed, canvas size 26" x 21-1/4", with framing overall 31" x 26-1/2". There are dates on the reverse in pencil which are partially legible, "May 2 - July 1....". There is also in pencil inscribed the name D. Wilson with a Rye, New York address. A red pen inscription on the upper left corner of the reverse infers that the painting was done by another, Dora Lynell Wilson, an Australian artist, though the attribution is truly uncertain.
