Porcelain miniature boxes in the form of a chess black queen and black king, handpainted, brass hardware with a crown shape thumb piece. Underside marked "Limoges/ France/ Peint Mein" and decorator's initials in red pigment. The pieces measure approx. 4"T and 3-5/8"T.
