An English sterling silver and cut glass claret ewer, with a long hollow handle, a hinged lid, and the collar in engraved designs on the silver, marked with a lion passant and "HA" maker's mark under the lid, with a tapering body entirely covered in deeply cut faceted patterns. The ewer measures approx. 12-1/4" H x 4-1/4" in diameter at the base.
