A ship in full sail. Oil on canvas, signed in the lower right corner, approx. 26" x 36" canvas size. Not framed. A fishing ship is seen in the foreground near a patch of sunlight. Other ships including steamers are seen in the distance. The shoreline with a fortress and other buildings are indicated at the left of the composition. This is a very nicely painted piece that could be improved a great deal by conservation.
