A forest in winter. Oil on wood board, initialed and dated '94 in the lower right corner, initialed also in the lower left corner, (F.H. ?) framed in a black painted frame, board size approx. 7-1/2" x 9-1/2", with framing overall approx. 9-1/4" x 11-1/8". An unusual scene, naively painted en grisaille, with a woven fence at the right covered in show, bars and two platforms over the path in the center and a snow-covered embankment at the left. Barren trees occupy the distance.
