Spine starting, foxing, water damage, pen inscription and pencil markings throughout. Fair. 2. Portland: J. Johnson, 1812. First American edition from the London edition of 1721. A book of difficult and obscure words and terms of the common and statute laws of England. Full leather-front board almost detached. Ink inscription, pencil markings and previous owners stamp. Tooled cover and red leather label on spine. Interior toned and stained, probably water damage. Poor. 3. Amherst, Mass: J. S. and C. Adams, 1829. By Blaise Pascal, first American edition. Blue stamp metric on contents page. Toned pages. Full leather with losses. Red label on spine. Poor.
