An estate Lilihan rug, approx. 3'-9" x 7'-6", with a background color in a rich cinnabar, and the other colors being blue, gold, salmon, ivory and black. The pattern is overall with an attenuated central medallion and three rows of decorative edge banding. Provenance: From the estate of Myles and Olive Standish, Omaha, Nebraska, descent in the family.
