A traditionally styled 4-drawer dresser in walnut with walnut veneers and pine secondary woods, 43"W x 21"D x 41"H, set up on turned legs, with a slightly bowed front and fluted column details at either side, with traditional brass hardware (probably not the original), brass escutcheons, lacking the locks and keys, ca. 20th Century.

Round top and stretcher decorated with a stylized rosette and inlaid concentric circles of blond wood, supported by four slightly flared tapering legs. Overall the table measures approx. 30-1/2"H.

A pretty two-tier table, of ovoid form, with curvilinear tapering legs with brasses at the foot, with the lower tier encircled with brass edge banding and two brass handles in the shape of a lioness with paws, the legs also with cast brass details of cherubs at the knees, and the top tier surrounded by a pierced brass gallery. Both of the wood surfaces are veneered with a diamond pattern surrounded by a plain band of wood. Overall the piece measures approx. 31-3/4"H x 27" x 17-3/4" at the widest points.

A beautiful carved walnut wood bench in a traditional provincial style, with turned legs and stretchers and with carved wood decorations on the base in floral forms, upholstered in a hand made tapestry textile in a sandalwood color with floral designs in yellow, aqua, blue, green and pink, with coordinating tassel fringe trimming the lower edge of the seat, measuring approx. 42" x 18-1/2" x 17-1/2"H.

A Jacobean style armchair, ca. 1920's, with serpentine armrests terminating in scrolled ends with carved leaf shapes on the top, the back carved and pierced with foliate motifs, the legs and stretchers turned and carved as well, in a dark brown wood. The chair seat is covered in a pumpkin colored velvet (not original). The chair measures 24"W x 19-1/2"D x 55"H.

A delicate wood side table in a warm brown finish, with inlaid wood detailing banding the top and a flower basket inlaid in the center of the top, with a gold-tone metal gallery around the perimeter and a coordinating metal banding around the small shelf. The table has two legs, a small shelf, and a brace below, the legs in a flat open baluster shape, measuring approx. 24-3/4"W x 13-3/8"D x 25-1/2"H.

A small white marble pedestal with two squared columns on a rectangular plinth base, and with a rectangular top, with the elements bolted together. The topmost piece is not attached. The pedestal measures approx. 34"H x 14-1/2"W x 7"D overall.

Wonderful Mother of Pearl Panel Bar

When closed this piece appears to be a beautiful side cabinet with four black panels with mother of pearl inlay and gold hand painted details. Each panel is a scene with two female figures of mother of pearl in various poses, with fruits and vegetables in the foreground, including peppers, mushrooms and what appear to be lychee fruit. Hand painted gold details include birds in the sky, trees, waves on the water. When opened the top of this piece is two framed wood panels, the central sections in the shape of a star-burst. When the two top sections are opened, they reveal three green marble sections with white veins, including a large rectangle flanked by two squares. When the cabinet is opened, with brass bell shaped pulls which are mounted on flower shaped escutcheons, a bar is revealed. Measures approx. 41" H x 36" W x 18" D when closed and 72" W when open.

720. A Set Of Six Arne Jacobsen Designed Chairs


A set of six armless "Grand Prix" chairs designed by Arne Jacobsen in a soft teak color, each measuring approx. 18"W x 17"D x 31"H, with tapering bent plywood legs in an "X" formation attached to the bottom of the bent plywood shells with the original wood and metal plates and braced with the original rubber grommets. Each chair has the aluminum label affixed to the bottom from Fritz Hansen, made in Denmark.
