219. A Pair of Book Illustrations by Cyril Bouda (Czech, 20th Century)
A pair of prints taken from a book, p. 871 & 872, "Baladna O Namorniku I & II" (Balad of the Mariner). One is printed with "Zpev Druhy" (First Song) on the verso and the other "Zpev Prvni" (Second Song). The two pieces are matted in a double opening mat and framed under glass in one frame. Each sheet measures approx. 8" x 6", and overall with the framing the piece measures approx. 13-3/4" x 19-3/4". There are hand-written title tags affixed to the back of the framing.
