There is a label on the back of the framing from the "Art Collectors Company" in New York. "Self Portrait Seated At A Table". A von der Becke edition, ca. 1931, Knesebeck No. 21, an edition of an etching with aquatint by Kathe Kollwitz depicting an 1892/3 self portrait, with blind stamp in the lower right corner of the plate (A.v.d.Becke/Muenchen 22), the plate size approx. 7" x 5", and with matting and framing under glass overall approx. 14-1/2" x 12-1/2". The paper size is 13" x 10-1/4". The artist was twenty-five years old when she created this image; one of her earliest self-portraits.
