Panels depicting a variety of rural landscapes, set into an ebony cabinet, probably from Antwerp. Possibly missing original hinged outer doors, sectioned in three with the top and bottom portions having three drawers, the center having six drawers and a columned door with an arch pediment, behind which is a mirrored interior. The rippled ebony moldings framing the panels are typical of those seen on pictures frames and other details of the period. Turned open-worked supports grace the front of the cabinet. Approx. 32"T x 46"W x 18-1/2"D. On display in Piquot Lakes, MN.

A attractive pair of mahogany hall chairs, measuring approx. 37"H x 18"W x 16"D, in a glossy patinated finish on mahogany, with the front feet in a spade form and the back legs slightly splayed, a slightly concave wooden seat, with an ovoid back carved with a central oval containing a hand painted image crest of a turkey with a Latin inscription on a scrolling banner below, surrounded by radiating ridges contained in the outer band of the inside back. Purchased from Christine Crossman Vining Antiques, Marblehead, MA.

An attractive side table painted and gilded over a black lacquer base, with slightly tapered legs decorated with gilded acanthus leaf designs and other elements, terminating in bun feet. An American Empire style dresser, ca. late 19th Century, in walnut with walnut veneers and other secondary woods, with seven dovetailed drawers; four in the body of the dresser and three smaller ones in the set-on-top portion. The top drawer on the body of the dresser has a convex shaped front. The sides of the front are flanked by pretty carved columns. Overall the dresser measures approx. 45"W x 21"D x 43"H.

An antique armoire with double shaped doors with burlwood veneers, with a gracefully arched pediment and ornaments down the sides, the interior fitted with a metal hanging rod and wooden hooks, and with some small wooden hangers. The armoire measures approx. 79"H x 43"W x 17"D. This piece is one unit, and does not disassemble for transporting.

A Hepplewhite style ladies' writing desk, ca. 1930's, measuring approx. 28" x 17" x 41-3/4"H, in a medium brown wood with a glossy finish, on tapering legs, with two graduated sizes of drawers in the base and two slides on either side of the top drawer to support the hinged fold-out desk top, with an upper section that is inclosed by two tambour doors and interior compartments, central shelves and a drawer, letter slots on either side and two small drawers below. The drawer pulls, door pulls and pulls on the supports are small bone discs. The cast metal pulls on the drawers are oval with an urn image in relief in the center surrounded by a hinged oval pull in the shape of a wreath. The flat wood surfaces are further embellished with a satiny veneer and inlaid edge banding. The bottom of the legs is also inlaid with similar banding.

A rustic oak farmhouse table in a medium-dark oak wood, approx. 92-1/4" x 43" x 30-1/2"H plus hinged demilune end panels, each approx. 13"D. with a pegged plank top, slight overhang, plain apron and with slightly tapering straight legs. The height of the table has been increased by the addition of a 6"H "V"-shaped splice at each foot.

Two sets of two hinged doors, each panel mesuring approx 18-7/8"W x 89"H, x 1-5/8" thick, with a panel in the lower portion and three turned spindles in the middle section, and a carved vase of flowers with a gilded finish in the arched top section.

A traditionally styled buffet/server in mahogany and mahogany veneers, with gilt accents, ca. 20th Century. The buffet measures approx. 43"W x 21"D x 41"H, has three central drawers flanked by compartments with doors, the left one with a shelf and the right one lacking the shelf, on turned wood tapering legs. The buffet has brass ring-pulls on the drawers and brass handles on the doors with locking mechanisms but lacking the key.
