A collection of seven various size airtwist stemware, consisting of two double-knop airtwist glasses with bell-shaped bowls, 6-1/4" & 6-1/2"H, one airtwist stem with a bucket-shaped bowl, 5-7/8"H, one airtwist with a bell-shaped bowl, 6-9/16"H, one double airtwist with a bell-shaped bowl, 6-1/2"H, one double airtwist cordial (with signs of wear inside the bowl and at the edge of the foot), 5"H, and one cordial with a double airtwist stem and a small bucket shaped bowl with an engraved flower and bird pattern on the bowl, 5-7/8"H. This last glass is the only one of the group with a semi-polished pontil.
This genre of stemware first made its appearance in Europe in the 1700's.
