London: Printed and sold by J. Phillips, 1788. translated from a Latin Dissertation, which was awarded the first prize in the University of Cambridge for the year 1785. Second edition, revised and considerably enlarged, 8 vo. 167, (1) pp. Original wraps bound into plain board binding (typed on spine). Sabin 13484. Very scarce-only auction records were in 1976 and 1977, none in recent years. The first edition of 1786 has come up to auction fairly frequently in the last 20 years, but this edition appears to be very rare. Bookcase second shelf. 600/800 Sold $316.25 back to catalog |
