A superb pair of carved jade and diamond earrings set in platinum and 18K yellow gold. The dangling earrings are suspended from yellow gold posts and backs marked "Karter" with the fronts being cabachon jade approx. 1.4" in diameter surrounded by 16 round cut diamonds set in platinum, to which is hinged a platinum bar, approx. 5/8" long set with seven round cut diamonds, from which is suspended a 1" long jade amulet in the shape of an eggplant with openwork carved vines and a carved jump ring made in a single piece. These earrings come with their own black leather box with a velvet and satin interior.
