A sculptural painted wood carving of St. Casilda, (d. 1050) measuring approx. 31"H x 10"D x 10"W, missing the lower legs and feet and one arm, with remnants of a gessoed and painted finish overall. St. Casilda was the daughter of a Moorish governor of Toledo. Despite her fathers will she used to bring food to the imprisoned Christians.
