Two Studies. Graphite on lined notebook paper, both signed, matted in a double-opening mat and framed under glass, the image sizes approx. 6-1/4" x 4-1/2", and overall with the frame approx. 14-1/2" x 20-1/4". The quick studies, one depicting an older man with a moustache and some medals and the other depicting a man walking in an overcoat and smoking, capture the essence of the characters with a few strokes and a sure hand.
