A Victorian set of two cast glass containers with silver plate lids on a stand with a handle, made by Meriden. Overall the piece measures 10"H x 5"W and the containers measure 6-1/4"H x 3-1/4" in diameter. The handle has a holder on one side which would have held a utensil at one time, and a hook in the shape of a bird on the other side that holds a tongs.
