Oil on canvas, no signature found, the canvas size measuring approx. 28" x 22-3/4", framed in a newer gilt frame with rope and beading details, overall approx. 31-1/2" x 26". The Cleveland Museum of Art tag on the back indicates that the painting was seen at the museum in 1946 and was called "An Italian Madonna and Child" in that record.
