Lot includes; Constantine II (Flavius Claudius Constantinus 337-340 ). Approx. 12.7 cm, (5/8"D). Constantine II was responsible for a large area including Spain, France and Great Britain. Nero (54-68 A.D.), AE, concordia dupondius (bronze). Approx. 2.54 cm (1-1/8"D). Nero committed suicide in 68 on the eve of his arrest after a reign of extravagance. He was a lover of the arts, and it is reported that he played the fiddle while Rome burned in A.D. 64. Claudius II (Marcus Aurelius Claudius Augustus Gothicus (May 10, 213/214 - January, 270), Egyptian eagle on verso, Claudius profile facing right. Tetradrachm, ca. 150-250 A.D. Approx. 15.24 cm (6/8"D) Macedon coin, ca. 400 B.C. Bronze, possibly head of Athena facing right, verso with figure of Pan greeting a trophy. Approx. 15.24 cm (6/8"D) Crusader coin; Lucca, Italy.
