Highland Sheep. Oil on canvas, signed in the lower right corner, framed in a very ornate gilt frame, the canvas size 22" x 36", and with the framing overall 35" x 49". A large and very well painted piece with the herd posed majestically in the foreground on a mountainside and with the mountains in the distance. To the right of the composition the mist rises from a meandering river valley.
