847. An English Claret Ewer & Twenty Glasses, ca. 19th Century

A clear glass ewer in round bowl form with fluted elongated neck and silver plated spout, lid and "S" handle, the body decorated with small star bursts, unmarked, measuring approx. 10-3/4"T. The matching glassware in this lot has an etched family crest of a lion and a unicorn, as well as wheel-cut star bursts. The stemware includes four champagnes, approx. 5-3/8"T, six wines approx. 5-3/8"T and ten cordials approx. 4"T. Also included are two bobeches with similar star burst decorations.
