A Personal Devotional Shrine A personal devotional shrine in lacquered wood, 55-1/2"H x 19"D x 23"W, ornately fashioned with carved brass hardware and ornamental details, in two sections, the bottom section with sliding doors and one drawer, and the top section with two sets of double doors, the inner doors made in a gilt screening material. The upper cabinet interior is embellished with fittings to create an illusion of a temple interior including an elaborately carved and reticulated gilt over-door. The cabinet is electrified and has two "chandeliers" suspended at the top. The shrine comes with several pieces for the interior including a seated Buddha, a cushion and brass bell with a wooden wand, two offerings containers on stands, two votive containers on stands, a lacquer book stand that sits on a slide-out ledge and a small prayer book. 500/800 Sold: $776.25 |
