"Sailboat on the Hudson". Oil on board, signed lower right. A new painting with and antique look. The image approx. 11-1/4" x 15-1/4", overall with an antique frame approx. 14-1/2" x 18-1/2". Georgina Nemethy, daughter of the late Hungarian-American artist, Albert Sz. Nemethy, was born in Germany, on the way fleeing from Soviet occupied Hungary, and immigrated to the USA at the age of one. Georgina is the sister of painter George Nemethy.

A sunrise landscape with a marshy lake and an aquaduct in the distance. Oil on canvas, signed in the lower left corner, the canvas size 30-1/2" x 42". Not framed. There are a few fragments of information attached to the stretcher including part of an article about the artist from a newspaper, a tag with the artist's name hand written on it and another tag unfortunately obscured by adhesive and losses.
