A lot of twelve bright cut sterling silver spoons, each measuring 5-1/2"L, with a simple rounded handle decorated with images of dogwood blossoms, and with a spray of ferns and flowers inside the bowl, with the bowl finished in a gold wash, with initials engraved on the backs, and the backs marked "sterling" and "W. Moir". The twelve weigh 5.865 troy oz.

Traditional Kirk floral repousse design in this complete service for eight, 9-piece place settings. The setting includes: Dinner fork 7-1/4"L, salad fork 8-1/4"L, shrimp fork 5-1/2"L, teaspoon (16 pieces) 6"L, cream soup spoon 6"L, iced tea spoon 7-1/2"L, dinner knife 9"L, steak knife 8-3/4"L, butter knife 6"L. Also, the service includes eight serving pieces: two serving spoons, one serving spoon with a slotted bowl, a small gravy ladle, a berry spoon with a repousse bowl, a shell bowl sugar spoon, a butter server, and a cheese server with a stainless steel blade. Overall the sterling silver weight is approx. 76. troy oz. The service was purchased in 1955, while S. Kirk & Son was still an independent company.

This set includes a mirror (9"L), hair brush (9"L), clothes brush (6¾"L), and a hair comb (7"L). All set in sterling silver, marked with appropriate Jensen hallmarks, as well as "Sigvard" designer signature. After Bernadotte joined Georg Jensen as a designer, his designs were a sharp departure for the firm famous for naturalistic designs. He drew his inspiration from traditional Swedish design motifs of geometric, clean and functional symmetry. "He introduced designs with distinctive, clear and adroit lines, characterized as classical, formal, elegant and dignified."

Marked "Dessin" and the initials "HN". "Dessin" is the French word for design and "HN" stands for Harald Nielsen — Georg Jensen's leading Art Deco designer. The Georg Jensen Company was unusual in always giving full credit to its designers and you will often see the designer's two initials marked alongside the other hallmarks. Lot includes a hand mirror appr0x. 8-3/8"L, an oval brush approx. 6-3/4"L and a long brush approx. 7-1/4"L. All properly hallmarked and with monograms.

A heavy Arts & Crafts design sterling silver tray, with simple incised decorations along the rim, with the bottom marked "Randahl Sterling/ 354/ 12-1/2 in., weighing approx. 28.8 troy oz. While the Kalo Shop produced the largest amount of Arts & Crafts silver, two other makers had fairly sizable products -- Lebolt and Randahl. Julius O. Randahl was a Swedish silversmith who worked at the Kalo Shop from 1907 to 1910, important Park Ridge years, when Kalo was growing quickly and creating some of its best work. Later Randahl and another ex-Kalo silversmith, Matthias Hanck, formed a shop called the Julmat (from the first syllables from each of their names), which lasted just one year.
