941. An English Sterling Silver Tea Pot, London, ca. 1865-66

This lovely tea pot features a short stout shaped body with engraved floral pattern and two (non-monogramed) medallions, an elegantly curved handle with c-scrolls, fluted spout, and a charming mellon finial. It has bone insulators on the handle. Fully hallmarked on the underside, as well as under the lid, on the finial and handle. Possibly by the Roberts & Briggs Company, London, ca. 1865-66. Weight approx. 19.3 troy oz. and measuring approx. 5-1/2"T (with handle) x 6-1/4"W.
