A Shiraz rug with an interesting design featuring a red center field woven with a navy blue medallion at the center and filled with stylized floral sprays as well as horse head shapes in the corners; the corner guards echo the medallion motif and so are less triangular than traditional; all enclosed with geometric borders in serrated patterns. Overall it is fashioned in a muted palette and measures approx. 5'-0" x 7'-8".
