"Hut." Oil on board, signed lower right. Image size approx. 9½" x 12¾"; framed overall approx. 19½" x 22¾". Valentin Kavoline lived and worked in St. Petersburg, Russia. He had studied at the Leningrad Art College from 1934 till 1953, and at the Art Academy from 1953 till 1959 with A.A. Mylnikova and E.I. Tabakova. His graduation work was exhibited at the Seventh Exhibition of the USSR's art student's diploma works. Kavolin participated in numerous St. Petersburg and regional exhibitions throughout his lifetime.
