The burlwood veneered buffet measures 70-1/2"W x 25"D x 36"H, and has hinged doors at either end with two shelves inside, and two hinged doors in the center covering a set of four drawers with campaign-style brass hardware. The interior is a warm glossy mahogany. The original hardware was removed from the doors and the holes filled, now just below the current hardware. The current hardware has a French style, with locks (lacking a key) and is at the tops of the original locations. There are letters stamped into the wood in each door at the place which would have been covered by the original back plate. The stylishly scalloped form is clad on top and sides in a rich ribbony burled wood veneer. Underneath each of the door hardware is stamped some illegible letters, some of them backward. One of these appears to read "JECO". Matches the previous lot.
