Skyscape. Silkscreen with some metalic inks on paper, signed in pencil in the lower right margin and dated '85, numbered in the lower left margin 15/120, matted and framed under plexiglass, the image size 22-3/4" x 15-3/4", and with the matting and framing overall 33" x 25-3/8".
Sawada's skyscapes have been a sensation on the market since they were first introduced in the late 1970's. Reputedly, they were inspired by the view seen when taking off or landing through a jet's portholes.
