Hand painted vellum pages with mirrored Brugeois scroll-work depicting strawberries and flowers. Two columns each with 28 lines of text in Latin in Angular Gothic Script. Lettering in red and blue pigment with burnished gold intinials. Verso also with like text, less decoration but still with gold work. The appearance of the strawberry indicates that the illuminating was done by a Benedictine monk. Each measuring approx. 13-1/2" x 10-1/2".
