| 322. A 19th Century Hand Painted Meissen Bottle with Stopper
A large bottle with stopper of tapered form, on small foot. Gadrooned narrow neck with knopped stopper. Polychromed with double sided vignettes of wild fowl in a raised cartouche with scrolls and leafy accents in gilt and pink. Porcelain form with raised decorations on sides and grape vine swags that gather at the top of cartouche. Neck has flower bouquets and surrounding areas painted with blossoms, butterflies and insects. Underglaze blue mark on bottom.
