A large jar in blue with exceedingly fine painting, unmarked, ca. late 18th/19th Century. The vase features embellishments of burnished gold on a deep lapis blue color ground, with a Greek key pattern at the rim, the front of the vase with a branch with birds and blossoms. The jar has a carved wooden lid; the vase alone measures approx. 10-1/4"T.
