1186. English Mahogany Tea Caddy, ca. 19th Century

The overall tapered form of the tea caddy features a hinged lid with beveled sides and a single ivory plaque, resting on brass bun feet. The interior with yet another hinged lid with a small ivory knop, covering two compartments. The exterior is missing the original escutcheon. Overall it measures approx. 6"T x 11½"L x 8¼"W.
