A pair of silver plate repousse wall plaques, ca. 1905, each approx. 16" in diameter x 2-1/2"D, with wood backing and wiring for hanging, each fashioned with a deep relief pictorial image in the center of a beautiful woman in profile surrounded by foliage and fish, and with a butterfly on her shoulder. The image is surrounded by different classical ornamentation on each piece, also in a deep relief. Each piece also has four ball ornaments affixed to the outer rim. No maker's marks were found.
