A large country French Oak buffet, ca. 1820, in a dark brown finish, with doors at either end and a smaller door at the center. Above the center door are two small drawers. The doors have working locks and there is a key with a red key tassel. The interiors of the doors are shaped echoing the outsides, so the doors have a little flourish when open. The front is carved and embellished with floral carvings and sits on ball feet in the front and straight legs in the back. There is a carved shell and foliate design at the lower center. There are very attractive oxidized metal escutcheons and drawer pulls to match. Overall the buffet measures approx. 72-1/2"W x 21-3/4"D x 41-1/2"H. There is a custom-made folding pad fitted to the top that accompanies the piece. Truck delivery only.
