| 375. A French Art Deco Raku Vase by Raoul Lachenal (1885-1956) ca. 1930's
The glaze is a mottled rough textured toffee glaze. Lachenal was an important French ceramicist of the Art Deco period, establishing his own studio in Boulogne-sur-Seine near Paris in 1911. This vase is a bulbous form with a distinctive rim and base is encapsulated with thin silver foil. The underside is inscribed and signed. Approx. 12-1/4"T. 400/600 Sold $609.50 back to catalog |
