A lot of three pairs of brass candlesticks, the first an attractive turned shape 7-3/4"H, the second with an open twisted shaft 10"H, and the third a larger pair, 12-1/4"H with floral motifs incised into the base. These last come with candles and contemporary matte black metal shades.

722. A International Character Boudoir Doll in Spanish Costume, ca. 1930's
An international character boudoir doll in Spanish costume, approx. 27" tall, with a molded wool felt head and bodice, and with soft stuffed gusseted wool felt covered arms and legs. The face has hand painted details; the hair is a formed layer of black wool felt. She has gilt wood hoop earrings and a wool felt flower on one side. She wears a black cotton shawl with wool fringe and has a skirt consisting of ruffled layers of cream colored voile with a brown netting overlay, and a red silk scarf draped from her waist with a wool felt flower. She has voile undergarments and black silk stockings, but no shoes. She has castanets and green wool pom poms in each hand. She wears a black wool felt hat and a small wooden cross as well. There were no maker's tags or marks found.

723. An Antique Topsy-Turvy Doll, ca. 1930-40
An unusual antique double ended doll, with papier mache mask faces, composite backs to the heads, stuffed textile bodies, gusseted shoulders, measuring approx. 19"L overall. The doll is comprised of two lady doll bodies joined at the waist, so the costume of each covers the other. One doll face depicts a black woman with a headdress, a long floral dress with a ruffled hem and an apron. The other depicts a white woman with a long red dress with pale blue ruffles, wearing a yellow headdress and a straw basket on top. The faces are both molded in the same shape, and are stapled to the composite backs of the heads. There is a printed paper stamp on the end of the black doll's apron strings that says "Consumo" and "Seda....Brasil".

A large decorative octagonal wall bracket, shaped in sections, fashioned in wood, with a newer rustic painted finish coating the surfaces, and with new hangers applied to the back. This attractive rustic architectural fragment measures approx. 19"H and 14" wide at the widest point. There are oxidized metal bolts protruding slightly from the flat of the top.

725. A Maori Carved Wood Box With Lid
A carved Maori wooden box with lid, the cylindrical shape lathe-made and the exterior carved with traditional designs and with two discs of mother of pearl inset in the sides. Overall the box measures 3-1/2" in diameter x 3-3/4"H. The sides are carved with a "Rauro" design alternating with a "Te Arawa" head. The wood is possibly Totara, which is a soft red pine known to be used by the Maori of New Zealand.

726. A Curved Wooden Ornamental Door from Thailand
A curved wooden ornamental door from Thailand, measuring approx. 37"H x 30"W x 5-1/2"D. The carved medium brown wood is elaborately pierced and has a generous amount of embellishments of various shapes of mirror affixed to the front surfaces. The edges are coated with a rough gilt finish and the back is painted with a glossy rust color. There are four hinges on the back from former mounting, and there are carver's initials in the upper back edge. The panel has additional ornaments jutting from the top in the form of triangular shapes and posts.
