616. A Vintage Chinese Ceramic Centerpiece A vintage Chinese glazed ceramic centerpiece, with the main body in a boat shape attached to a pierced self three-legged base. The graceful form is further enhanced by relief and enameled decorations. The exterior is glazed in a matte finish grading from yellow to honey color, with foliate designs on each leg and rimmed in gilt. The upper portion is decorated with elaborate polychrome enameled foliage and blossoms and cast "handles" on either end. Gilt accents were also used to embellish the upper portion.
