A 19th Century Persian pottery vessel, in a tall squared shape with a narrow neck and lip, measuring approx. 10-3/4"H x 4-3/8" x 4-3/8". The sides have been hand painted in floral forms in blue, yellow, red and green with black outlining, with the background in a clear glaze over the rough natural brown surface.

A magnificent "His & Hers", matching pair of hand painted lidded pitchers, each approx. 13"T. Both are marked on the bottom in underglaze blue "HP". The woman is wearing a deep blue dotted blouse with ruffled collar, pink-red apron over a long yellow skirt and brown wooden shoes. The gentleman is wearing mustard colored breeches, detailed ruff collar and long pick jacket with yellow buttons and dots. Bright fresh colors are used on both.

A glazed ceramic tobacco jar in the shape of a seated monkey holding a pipe. The jar measures approx. 9-3/4"H x 7"W x 6"D. The textured surface has washes of tinted glazes including charcoal on the body, and rose and yellow on the monkey's outfit with a sage green on the back. The pipe stem is black and the bowl is tan. The lid is comprised of the head and shoulders. The underside is impressed with "Austria" and the numbers "11730" and "22".

"Woman from Greenland", a glazed porcelain figurine made by Royal Copenhagen, designed by Carl Martin-Hansen in 1924, #12224, this piece manufactured in 1953. It is marked on the underside with the impressed letter N for 1953, First Factory Quality, and there is a letter "U" over the word "Denmark". It is a hard paste porcelain standing figurine of the woman in traditional garb, minutely detailed in polychrome overglaze decoration, and measuring approx. 13-1/4"H overall. The base on which she stands measures 3-1/2" x 3-1/2".
