A large silver plateau or presentation tray, with an overall ovoid shape with two shell shaped handles, measuring approx. 25-1/4"W x 18-1/4"D. The approx. 1"W rim is a hollow relief of 800 silver, attached to a conforming backing of dark stained wood, with four small silver feet and a shell-shaped silver over wood handle at either side. The central portion is a mirror. Hallmarks on the handles and on the side edge.

An early hand hammered sterling silver tray in an irregular oblong boat shape on four legs, measuring approx. 8"W x 6"D x 2-1/2"H. The edge of the wide brim of the tray is decorated with repeating designs, incised and stamped into the metal. There is a cast silver figure of a bird standing at either end of the rim. There is a worn touchmark on the bottom of one foot, probably an eagle in a circle. The tray weighs approx. 12.14 troy oz.
