A Japanese Kutani porcelain ewer, with the entire exterior embellished with detailed patterned sections and flying dragons in iron red, mottled charcoal black and gilt. The handle and the spout also echo dragon shapes. There are calligraphic markings on the underside. The ewer measures approx. 8"H x 7-1/2"W from outside of handle to tip of spout. The body of the ewer measures approx. 3-1/4" in diameter at the widest point.
