A Syrian footed ceramic dish, ca. 12th Century, with a flaring rim and a 5/8"D foot, and with an iron ring-pull inserted in the center. The dish measures 11-1/4" in diameter x 2-5/8"H. It is decorated in a bright aqua blue glaze with black foliate and geometric embellishments.
