A Persian Mashad rug, ca. 1930's, measuring approx. 7'-10" x 10'-10". Bright red centerfield woven with a blue curvilinear medallion and filled with floral sprays and garlands, corner guards are reminiscent of the medallion; primary border features a stylized floral motif pattern and is surrounded with ivory rosette pattern secondary borders and smaller rosette borders with red ground. Great timeless design.
