A Persian Farahan rug, ca. 1940's, measuring approx. 6'-3" x 9'-3", a tribal made rug, so it is not woven on square, but curves slightly overall. This striking rug makes a very strong visual statement with the deeply saturated colors and strong contrasts. The colors include as rich red with variegated dyes, dark charcoal, tan, orange and cobalt threads. The positioning of the colors creates the strong contrasts.
