"Girl From Amager". Glazed porcelain figurine made by Royal Copenhagen, designed by Carl Martin-Hansen in 1923, #12412, this piece manufactured in 1949. The "U" over the "D" in Denmark denoting the date of manufacture, First Factory Quality. The figurine made in hard paste porcelain with hand painted polychrome overglaze decoration in minute and delicate detail, measuring approx. 5-1/2"H x 3-1/4"W x 4"D.
