A Chinese scholar's desktop bud vase with a slender tapering body, narrow neck and a flared mouth. Fired in a well-controlled peachbloom glaze with predominately moss green hues, with splashes of burned pink. The bottom portion of the vase is unglazed. A blue underglaze KangXi mark is on the recessed base. Probably missing the stand. Overall measures approx. 6"T.
