A pen and ink illustration of a nude woman as a musical instrument, initialed in the lower right center. A Black moon is behind her while a female beast in the right corner squeezes a heart into a glass. A skull lies in the left corner surrounded by poppies. There are wonderful colors in this exotic image. The image size is approx. 5-3/4" x 3-3/8", overall the paper size is approx. 8-3/8" x 6-3/4". This watercolor is very similar to the one sold in our September 2007, but with compositional changes; Graverol was known to work the same composition with variations. 500/700 Sold $373.75 back to catalog |
