A large hand painted glazed ceramic plaque with the image of a Dutch landscape with windmills in sepia tones, not framed, measuring approx. 16" x 24", and marked in the underglaze on the back and also "Societe Ceramique" written in script in sepia. The Societe Ceramique Maestricht was established at Maestricht in the Netherlands by Guilaume Lambert & Cie in 1859, and in 1958 merged with NV de Sphinx.
