The first ivory/bone carving depicts Quan Yin seated on a lotus blossom, holding an attribute in her left hand, raised in blessing; the carving is adhered to a carved wood pedestal, overall with the pedestal it measures approx. 5-1/2"T. The second carving depicts a seated Quan Yin holding a large flower, or a 'lingzhi' fungus, the figure is sitting on a lotus flower and has a halo affixed to the back; this figure comes without a stand, and overall measures approx. 3-1/2"T.
