A Persian Rakka Ware pottery jar, ca. 17th Century or earlier, measuring approx. 10-3/4"H x 8" in diameter at the shoulder, with a 3/4" unglazed foot, and a 2" tall neck with a slightly flared lip. The sides are glazed in turquoise with black hand decorated designs including birds and fish.
